Billings Lake Cottage sits high above Billings Lake with beautiful views of the the lake, the islands and the opposite shoreline. There is a view of the lake from inside in the living room and also upstairs from the sheltered porch. The cottage was totally redone in 2009. On the main level there is the main bedroom, the living room with a wood burning soapstone stove, dining area, the fully applianced kitchen and the full bath. On the second floor it is set up to be a sitting area or pull out any of the 6 beds (1 full and 3 twins) and make it a second bedroom for another family with the half bath and closet and dresser. Follow the natural rock pathway while holding onto the curved railing down to the water and there a kiddie area that was built up with rock and sand for the little ones and rock steps into the water for swimming. Also bring your boat and you can dock it at your own private dock. Or use either the paddle boat, kayaks or one of the 2 hydrobikes to go explore the islands and coves.

We are one of the few and longest living farms to continue in the founder's name "Geer". The Heavitree is an original 18th Century building that was saved and moved to its current location suiting its surroundings, a 140+ acre farm started by their ancestors in 1700. "The house should suit the land, and the furnishings should suit the house". The original structure was a tavern located in Rhode Island, which had plans to be destroyed to make way for new construction. At this time, the owner Charlotte Geer was looking for an early farm house to compliment her families' historic farm land. This tavern is the treasure that was sought after for two years. When you walk through the doors you are taken back in time yet with all the modern amenities of today. There are twelve rooms including four sleeping chambers (three of which have private bathrooms), central air, Wi-fi and large rooms for private parties. Our spacious quarters consist of the unique 18th century Parlor, Dining Room, Keeping Room, Tap Room (which is part of the downstairs tavern) and the addition of The Great Room – completing the 4,780 sq. ft. farmhouse. This is a completely new 400s.f. cabin nestled in the woods of Southeastern Connecticut. About 15 minutes to Foxwoods Casino, Downtown Mystic, CT, Stonington Boro, and Rhode Island beaches. You can't ask for a better location. The cabin has a queen sized bed with a tempurpedic mattress and down featherbed, a brand new queen sized pull out sofa with tempurpedic mattress and down featherbed. There is a kitchenette with fridge, sink, toaster oven and electric skillet. Or better yet, why not cook your dinner on the gas grill while enjoying a glass of wine while overlooking our private pond which teems with wildlife. If you're patient you're sure to see Hank Heron, our resident Blue Heron that visits the pond daily. Surrounded by towering Pine trees this is a private getaway, close to everything but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere.

This is a Site in a campground which has a trailer that sleeps 6. Includes A full bath, kitchen and dining area. The living room has two full size pull out couches. On this property there is a deck with awning. Also a picnic table and campfire. There are utensils, plates, pots, cups and a vacuum cleaner. There is a rental office for golf carts if needed for a fee. Please bring your own food, beddings, toiletries and person care products. THE AREA- The property is Located inside Strawberry park camp resort. Strawberry park is located 5 minutes from foxwoods casino, 15 minutes from mystic and has several beautiful wineries within a 3 mile radius. There are also 3 lakes perfect for fishing within 2.5 miles as well. A perfect trip for the summer filled with various activities to do. STRAWBERRY PARK- Known best for its themed weekends, the 77 acre property offers a ton. - 3 swimming pools and a hot tub - full size basketball court -2 large playgrounds -a baseball field -a rec room and arcade room - a grill and ice creamery - pickle ball and horseshoes The scheduled activities are a constant at strawberry park. From kanjam tournaments to face painting to the Tiki bar poolside for adults. I will put up both a link to the website and a sample activities list and themes for the upcoming summer weeks. MY PLACE- It is a one bedroom/ one bathroom home. The bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of closet place. The living room couch pulls out into another queen size bed. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and a 4 burner gas stove. Plenty of counter tops and dual sinks. The bathroom is standard with a shower/tub. The upstairs loft cover over 1/2 the square feet of the first floor. It's wide open and can easily sleep 4-5 adults comfortable. There is an air mattress provided. The deck is a huge space where you can eat drink and hang out. There is a table of 4 with another picnic table on the deck (NOT SEEN IN PICTURES). There are plastic outdoors chairs you can move to the front yard to sit around the fire. Feel free to use what wood is there, if you run out of wood it's avaliable for purchase at the front office. WHAT TO BRING- All rentals at strawberry park come bare bones. Which means you will need to provide linens/towels/shampoo/soap. I will have some things stored but I don't garuantee they will be in Stock. There is a Walmart one exit from the campground. What I recommend is packing like you are going camping and bring everything you think you need. WHAT ELSE- There is a 5$ fee per day for WiFi in the park. You can chose to purchase it through the park if you want it. I ask that you treat my home like it is yours. The cleaner you leave it, the better. I don't charge a cleaning fee because I have good faith you will treat it correctly. I appreciate your kindness in advance. If you have any problems during your stay, call at any time. Both decks are ideal for an outside meal, barbecuing, yoga, reading, family time, or just enjoying the serenity of nature and the lake. Our recent remodeling has kept some of the character of this 1933 summer home. The cozy cottage sleeps up to six people, making it perfect for a vacationing couple (or two) or a family. It has a medium size bedroom with a queen size bed, and a small bedroom with a full size bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a living room with large french doors that open onto the upper deck with magnificent views of the lake. On the lower level is the living/recreation room (including laundry machines) which opens onto the water level deck. There are always areas on the deck to be in the shade if needed. There are two small parking spaces that will fit a maximum of two cars. Kayaks and a canoe are provided for your use at no additional charge. There is also a Huck Finn style raft to sit on or swim from during the summer, or to untie and float around on. Our location is central to the Mystic and More area of Connecticut making any of the sights reachable within 20 minutes. We are located between Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun. This is a second floor apartment that has three bedrooms and can be rented as a stand alone rental. All of the beds are excellent quality pillow tops. Each bed has six pillows. The living room has an available queen size air mattress. The apartment is cleaned entirely when guests check out. Additional cleaning is available at an additional price. Many amenities are furnished making less work in packing for you. There is off street parking for up to four automobiles. We have discounts for various restaurants and attractions. This corner of Connecticut has so much to offer, from our proximity to the ocean, RI's or CT's, numerous rivers for hiking/kayaking/fishing to loads of wineries and a growing impressive list of small breweries within a short drive. We also have 2 world-class casinos within 10 minutes of the house. If you're up for a short drive, there are lots of charming day-trip destinations within an hour to places like Essex, where you can take the only steam train/riverboat cruise in the country; Mystic (stop in to visit Mystic Pizza, filming location of the iconic movie by the same name); Stonington Borough where you can buy lobsters on the dock and visit the farmers market, or browse the quaint shops along Water Street. So much to see & so much to do in this area, but if you're up for a dose of the big city life, New York and Boston are within ~ 2 hours, in opposite directions, of course !
